Miles Canning

Miles started his career in hotels at The Dorchester and after several successful years working with a number of other prestigious London hotels including the Inter-Continental, Grosvenor House and the Athenaeum, (a proud Profile placement!), he was later to re-join Inter-Continental, most recently at the Britannia on Grosvenor Square as Executive Assistant Manager.

Miles was one of the Caterer's 30 under 30 Acorn Award winners and was also President of the AICR UK (Amicale International des Chefs de Reception) for three years.

In 1998 he left hotels to start a part-time Masters degree to train as a Psychotherapist and having successfully completed his MA he now runs his own private practice. Miles joined Profile in 1999 and in addition to his work in Psychotherapy, Miles heads our Rooms Division, Revenue Management and Finance Appointments recruiting Room Division Managers, Front Office Managers, Revenue Managers and Financial Directors for the UK and Internationally.
