Profile is well established in handling sales and marketing appointments
in the hospitality sector, and many of today's Area Directors and VPs
in this field have been handled by Profile at some point during their
career.
Profile Marketing Appointments (PMA) was launched as a new venture in
2003 to concentrate on search and recruitment for the increasingly technical
and sophisticated niche of Sales, Marketing and Communications. Understanding
our clients’ needs has been a key to our success, and as our business
grows, two further Consultants have joined the team in 2005. Job assignments
handled include Senior VP's, DOSM’s, Marketing & PR Directors,
Sales Managers and Sales Coordinators at unit and regional level within
the hospitality field.

Rupert Sellers
Managing Director
Profile Marketing Appointments Ltd
Rupert has spent more than 20 years in the hotel industry. Following
his 5-year Management Training with the Savoy Group and having graduated
from Oxford Brookes University, Rupert’s first job in Sales
& Marketing was at Grosvenor House in 1986, where he progressed
to Senior Sales Manager.
Rupert originally joined Profile in 1989 in the Sales and Marketing
division, but having spent over a year handling assignments for
high-profile clients, Rupert could not resist gaining more experience
in the hotel world and he joined Ritz-Carlton as Associate Director
of Sales for their two hotels in Sydney, Australia. Over a period
of 10 years, Rupert directed Sales & Marketing teams for Four
Seasons (The Regent London, which is now The Landmark London), Como
Hotels (including opening The Metropolitan, London) and Ian Schrager's
London Hotels.
Returning to Profile in 2001, Rupert has a strong track record
of successful placements in sales & marketing, and his understanding
of diverse corporate cultures has been invaluable. In addition to
having a good grasp on client recruitment needs, Rupert also provides
candidates with useful career advice – always with long term
goals in mind.

Lucy Flack
Lucy graduated from Bristol UWE with a BA Honours degree in Science,
Society and the Media. She started her career in London working
for a property marketing firm and from there to Promotions Manager
at Conde Nast for Vanity Fair and Tatler Magazines. Most recently,
Lucy was Marketing Executive at Abercrombie & Kent for two years.
In addition to business trips overseas, her responsibilities included
managing relationships with travel agents for this luxury tour operator.
Amongst Lucy’s interests, she has a passion for decorative
arts and interiors and completed a course at the London School of
Design. She is also a qualified reflexologist!
With useful experience in Travel Marketing and PR, Lucy complements
the PMA Consultants’ knowledge of the sales & marketing
niche sector in hospitality. |
